In order to deliver the complete
learning experience, and maximize our students' benefits regardless
of their geographical location, American College of Technology
applies a comprehensive delivery method consisting of various
components, such as live audio and video lectures, multi-media CDs
and E-mails. Classes commence every 8 weeks allowing you to choose
a convenient period to start your education. We have a new
start every 9 weeks regardless of the degree you are seeking.
| The ACoT-eLearn environment is set up for students, using their user name and password, to logon and utilize all the components of the classroom, such as; participate in the audio lecture, review the study materials, send and receive messages, do their assignments, discuss study materials with their fellow students, take the online tests and communicate with their teachers. |
| Classes meet 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday and
Friday for a total of
11 hours and 15 minutes a week. Minimum attendance required
is once a week. The instructor will explain the material and ask questions, students will be able to respond through their microphone and using their home computer. Once the class is over, the lecture is recorded and posted on our site to allow students to listen to the lecture and review the material at any other time according to their schedule, and as many time as they need. |
In addition to our live lecture times, Testing, progress reports, tutoring and recorded lectures are all
available online 24/7 through our eLearn platform. This allows you
to get your education on the go on your own time.
Your Instructor is available outside of the virtual classroom. Instant
message or e mail your instructor after hours and receive a response
before your next class time. Getting your education on your time has
never been easier! -We are taking education a step further. Our programs are structured
yet flexible, each course has a starting and an ending date (8 weeks); followed by one-week break. There is a new start every
9 weeks
