ACoT received its accreditation on November of 2006.

ACoT is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council [DETC], located in Washington, DC. The DETC Accrediting Commission identifies and accredits distance education and training institutions that have attained and maintained the standards deemed necessary to operate at a high level of quality. DETC was founded in 1926, and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
ACoT is approved and licensed to operate by the Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education.
ACOT is approved as a WIA - government training provider in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New York, Alaska, and other states. Check with your Workforce local office for grants for displaced and dislocated workers.

ACoT has an articulation agreement with Henley-Putnam university; students graduating with an Associate Degree from ACOT and desire to pursue their Bachelors degree, may transfer to Henley-Putnam University as a Junior Status (3rd. year) student.
